Efalon® (PTFE) V-ring sets are
composed of a male and a female component pressing each other and
a various number
of <<V>> profile rings in between them, the number of
rings depending on operating
conditions.
V-rings provide sealing without
any need for modification and maintenance.
As a result of their low
coefficient of friction and self lubrication,
Efalon® (PTFE) V-rings do not stick onto surfaces, are not blocked,
prevent wearing out of axles and shafts.
They reduce power loss keeping
the
initial motion to a minimum.
At high pressures and
temperatures, V-rings of compounded Efalon® (PTFE) should be
preferred.
