| KESTAMIDâ |
|
Kestamid® is an engineering
plastic used commonly for its superior mechanical, physical, chemical
and electrical properties. It is replacing aluminum, copper, bronze,
steel, fiber, brass and other metals in applications such as rotating
and sliding machinery components and similar equipment with superior
advantages as
it is lightweight, resistant to corrosion, impact, wear and
sunlight. It has high tensile and compression strength, operates silently
without lubrication. As it is resistant to sunlight, Kestamid® is
preferred especially in the production of insulating splints.
The production technique of Kestamid® enables
cost effective
production of bearings, gears, wear plates and pulleys of any dimension
and quantity. Application areas of Kestamid® in railways are as follows:

|
EFALONâ |
Efalon®
maintains its properties and flexibility until near absolute zero. It is
not fragile even in liquid helium, thus is
ideal for low temperature applications. It is an engineering plastic
that
shows high performance in changing weather conditions. It has high resistance to water, humidity,
corrosion, microorganisms and sunlight. Nothing sticks onto it.
The physical properties of Efalon®
such as low coefficient of friction
and non-stickiness, resistance to high, low temperatures and humidity,
perfect weatherabilty and its
mechanical properties enable it to find many application areas such as

ULPOLENâ |
|
Due to its slipperiness, perfect wear resistance
and low coefficient of friction, Ulpolen® 1000 is preferred in railway wagon
lining. Wagons lined with Ulpolen® 1000
enable easier discharge of load.
Ulpolen®
is easy to clean
and is low
maintenance. |
