DESCRIPTION
It is a formaldehyde based engineering plastic also known with trademarks Delrin®, Hostaform®, Celcon® and Ultraform®. In technical jargon, its name is polyoksymetylene (POM) or polyasetal.

Polital® is completely resistant to solvents, petroleum products, oil and grease. It is not resistant to strong acids, bases and oxidants. As it is affected by UV rays, its use in open air is not recommended.
