KESTAMIDâ |
|
Kestamid® is an engineering
plastic used commonly for its superior mechanical, physical, chemical
and electrical properties. It is replacing aluminum, copper, bronze,
steel, fiber, brass and other metals in many applications such as in
heavy construction machines, rotating and sliding machinery
components with superior
advantages as
it is lightweight, resistant to corrosion, impact, wear, and operates silently
without lubrication.
Making use of techniques specific to production of
Kestamid® and mechanical resistance of metals, it is possible to make
gears with steel core, pulleys, mixer rotors or produce Nylon® cylinders
with steel mills.
Production technique of Kestamid® is extremely economical as it
enables production of bearings, gears, wear plates and pulleys of
any dimension and quantity. Some application areas are:
-
Rotating and
sliding machinery components
-
Gears that operate without lubrication and silently
-
Wear plates,
pulleys
-
Bearings and
bushes
-
Components with
steel core support
Kestamid®
is ideal for the production of
support bases as it is lightweight and has high impact resistance. It can be assembled, carried and stocked easily. It contributes
to the reduction of operating costs forming a strong platform that
is resistant to wear. Kestamid® is used with
many advantages in pulleys, cranes, vehicle lifts, forklift hose sheaves, cable conveyors
and elevators as its weight is 1/7th of cast pulleys. It
increases lifting capacity of crane and reduces maintenance
costs. |

KESTOILâ
and KESTLUBâ |
For bearings and guides without
lubrication, Kestoil® is an ideal
self-lubricated engineering plastic that is structurally unique in many
ways. Kestoil® and
Kestlub® have lower coefficients of friction,
higher wear resistance and lower water absorption feature compared to
Kestamid®. These superior characteristics enable them to find wide
application areas as ideal bearing materials. Kestlub®
with its solid lubricant additive is better fit in bearing applications
with high pressure and load.
They are ideal for the production of remote controlled booms, telescopic
cranes, loaders, excavators, aerial working platforms, guides and pads
for container carriers. They reduce maintenance costs. As a result of
their perfect wear resistance and high load bearing capacity they contribute positively also to work safety.

ULPOLENâ
|
Due to
its perfect wear and impact
resistance, low coefficient of friction, silent operation and other
superior properties, Ulpolen®
1000 has a very wide application area
in lining construction equipment.
Ulpolen®
1000 has rightfully earned the title as the innovative and essential engineering plastic of the
industry.
-
High impact resistance
-
High wear resistance
-
Low friction coefficient
-
Self-slipperiness
-
High chemical resistance
-
Perfect resistance to water and weather
conditions
-
Wide operating temperature interval
-
Vibration
reduction
With dump beds and buckets lined with Ulpolen®
1000,
excavation volume
doubles in the presence of clay, mud and humidity. Materials flow faster and bearings have a longer life.
Asphalt, sand, mud, snow, soil, gravel and even broken concrete can be
transported easily. Also cleaning
Ulpolen®1000 lining is
easy. Even
within the same day, sand can be carried one time and asphalt the other. Fast flow is guaranteed with minimum dump bed
inclination. Based
on follow-up performance reports, inclination of bed is reduced up to 30%. The fact that
shaking and scraping the bed becomes unnecessary extends life of truck.
Ulpolen®
1000 lining
makes more expeditions
in a day possible, help carry more load in total, less changing of wheels per m3,
less maintenance and repair costs. It adds efficiency to
excavator companies that by definition have to race against time. It is
resistant to dry hot weather conditions in summer and to cold at below
zero levels in winter. It enables energy and cost saving.
Even ice does not stick onto it. It is thus an interesting material recommended
for lining snow shovelers
and excavators in heavy snow regions and on ski paths.
