ULPOLENâ |
|
With its perfect wear and impact
resistance, low coefficient of friction, silent operation,
health compliance, lightness, chemical resistance and other
superior assets, Ulpolen® 1000 has a very wide application area
in bottling industry especially as guides.
Ulpolen®
1000
guides direct
bearing chains, absorb
vibrations, extend operation life of chain and reduce noise to a
minimum. Conventional guide applications out of steel or
stainless steel require lubrication. When lubricant
diminishes, wear and abrasion are observed in tapes rotating at
high speeds. Ulpolen® 1000 eliminates the need for lubrication,
discards problems associated with diminishing lubricant.
As a prerequisite for food and health compliance, machine
components used in food and pharma have to be washed
and cleaned with strong chemicals. Ulpolen® 1000 is resistant to
chemical washing and continues to present all desired technical
properties after this operation. It is the ideal guide material.
Ulpolen® 1000 with solid lubricant additives is specially designed for bottling. The solid lubricant improves the coefficient of friction even
further. It helps
reduce breaking, material waste and noise.
Some application areas of Ulpolen® 1000 are as follows:
-
Direction profiles
-
Helicoids
-
Chain guides
-
Chain stretchers
-
Belt guides
-
Direction components
-
Star shaped wheels
-
Chain linear bearings
-
Chain curve bearings

EFALONâ |
|
It
is perfectly resistant to all chemicals
and corrosion, can be used in the -260° and +270° temperature
interval and is medicine
and food compliant. Especially for machine parts for bottling, tap fastening etc., virgin and
compounded Efalon®
(PTFE) components are used.
Another application is Efalon®
gaskets with rubber. These
gaskets are used as
internal tap gaskets of bottles in pharmaceutical industry.
While Efalon® provides
a health compliant surface, natural rubber on the
back provides flexibility and sealing.
Carbon-filled Efalon®
tubes are used as guides on bottle conveyors. High
wear and heat resistance of carbon-filled Efalon® and its
abilty to transmit heat without accumulating it on its surface make it
an ideal
material for this application. |

KESTAMIDâ |
As Kestamid® is lightweight, resistant to
corrosion, impact and wear and operates silently without lubrication, it
is replacing iron, steel, aluminum, bronze
and many other plastics in rotating and sliding machinery
components and equipment.
Making use of techniques specific to the production of
Kestamid® and mechanical resistance of metals, it is possible to
produce
gears with steel core, pulleys, mixer rotors or Nylon® cylinders
with steel mills.
The production technique of Kestamid® is extremely economical as it
enables the production of bearings, gears, wear plates and pulleys of
any dimension and quantity.
-
Very high tensile and compression strength
-
High impact resistance
-
Resistance to wear and bending
-
High chemical resistance
-
Economical as a result of low density
-
Works silently without lubrication
-
Can be produced in big dimensions
economically
